Insert Elements

The insert elements consist of a cage, sprags - number in relation to the shaft size - and a spring to preload the friction contact between the sprags and the mating parts.

Insert elements are not self centering and require additional bearing support for proper function.

Type series FE 400 (FE 400 M) GMN insert element with meander shaped spring (the suffix "M" may be omitted). especially recommended for high speed and high accuracy indexing applications. shaft diameters 14 to 80 mm as standards

Type series FE 400 Z GMN insert element with circular spring especially suited for backstopping and overrunning shaft diameters 4 to 80 mm as standards

Type series FE 400 Z2 GMN insert element with circular spring for limited space and lower torque requirement. shaft diameters 2 to 60 mm as standards

Type series 8000 Z GMN insert element with circular spring for higher torque requirement shaft diameters 38 to 123 mm as standards different widths available 13 mm/16 mm/19mm/25 mm depending on shaft diameters
