GMN precision ball bearing sprag clutch units are a common component in the bakery industry.

GMN sprag clutches are used in dough divider/rounder equipment, among other machinery in the food production process. For mass production of bakery items such as breads, buns, tortillas, rolls, pizzas and more, this multi-tasking machine quickly and easily cuts & shapes dough in the same step. For pressed in or on freewheel-cluch rings, no retainers are necessary for axial or radial security. Please note that even keywayed inner rings have to be pressfitted for proper function.

When mounting freewheel-clutches with bearings do not apply pressure to bearing balls. With the “RS” style it is necessary to specify clutch engagement direction.
