Reduce Wear & Tear on Your Equipment with Our High-Quality, Super Precision Bearings

Machine bearings define the load carrying capacity, speed, precision and performance of your equipment.

We know the quality of your high precision bearing is critical for success and if the bearing stops working as expected, the entire machine goes down for repair.

GMN has been in the bearing business since 1908 and we understand the unique demands that equipment places on high precision bearings.

See how our expert-level support, high quality products & rapid response times allow GMN to lead the market in high precision bearings.

Overview: Angular Contact Bearings

Our angular contact ball bearings carry both radial and axial loads. These loads are transferred from one ring to the other, through the balls, along a specific contact angle. We stock both 15°(C) and 25°(E) contact angles but can customize special contact angles if needed.

Stats at a glance:

  • Ball Material: 52100 Bearing Steel or Silicon Nitride (Si3N4) (See below)
  • Pre-Load Options: Spring, Rigid (or Custom, if needed)
  • Lubrication Options: Grease, Oil, Dry
  • Seals Available

Overview: Radial Ball Bearings

 Radial Ball Bearings

Our radial ball bearings carry axial loads in both directions and have a contact angle of approx. 8°. Radial ball bearings can handle a variety of speeds, are available with shields and can come pre-greased (lubricated). We offer customized radial ball bearings for specific applications.

Stats at a glance:

  • Internal Clearance Options: C2, CN, C3, C4, C5
  • Ball Material: 52100 Bearing Steel or Silicon Nitride (Si3N4) (See below)
  • Shields Available
  • Lubrication Options: Grease, Oil, Dry

Overview: Hybrid Ceramic Ball Bearings

All our Angular Contact Bearings and Radial Ball Bearings are available with ceramic balls, if that is preferred over 52100 bearing steel. Our hybrid ceramic bearings come with steel rings and ceramic balls made of Silicon Nitride (Si3N4). Ceramic balls have numerous advantages over bearing steel such as: low friction, low heat transfer and a longer lifespan.

Stats at a glance:

  • Ring Material: 52100 Bearing Steel
  • Ball Material: Silicone Nitride (Si3N4)
  • Seals and Shields Available (Depending on bearing type)
  • Lubrication Options: Grease, Oil, Dry
  • Extra wide bearing options available
