VGF, VGV, VGL(P), and VEK Series Clutches

This group of roller ramp clutches are rust protected and manufactured for heavy duty applications. The VGF, VGV, VGL(P), and VEK series have bearing support integrated. Sleeve bushings are used for VGF 8 to VGF 20 sizes and VGF 25 to VGF 60 utilize ball bearing support.

VGF Series

The VGF Series has bearing support, fits shafts 8-60 mm, and is rust protected.

VGV Series

The VGV series has a torque arm (lever arm) which is good for indexing and backstopping applications. This series is supported with sleeve bushings. It fits shafts 20-80 mm and is grease packed for life.

VGL(P) Series

The VGL(P) is a basic clutch mostly used outside housings, like sprockets. This series fits shafts 12-80 mm, is rust protected, and can be bolted straight to a wall with the shaft mounted and held in place.

VEK Series

GMN’s VEK series roller ramp clutch is capable of multiple revolutions. This series fits shafts 10-50 mm, is rust protected, and provides perfect performance with 100% repeatability.

VGL and VGLP Series Has Numerous Options

Series VGL has the option of coming with flanges and covers. Flange options are F2, F4, F5, F7 and cover options are D2, D3, D7.

We also offer a VGL KS-D2 series which is our basic VGL roller ramp clutch combined with the KS flexible coupling and D2 cover. This series connects two shafts together and is especially useful when shock loads and some vibrations have to be absorbed.
